The Weekly Summary

In general news, 22 children and parents were slaughtered in Manchester, England when an ISIS suicide bomber detonated outside of an Ariana Grande pop concert. Meanwhile, President Trump happened to be in Europe and traveled from Saudi Arabia to Israel, then to the Vatican to meet the Pope, Brussels for a NATO meeting, and ending in Sicily for a meeting of the G7 countries. His overarching message of the trip was that Europe has to pay more to contribute to their own military defenses.

In healthcare business news, things were slow due to the Memorial Day break. Aerie Pharmaceuticals (AERI) posted good data on glaucoma drug Roclatan.

On the data front, juice manufacturers agreed to guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics to ban juices in kids under the age of one.

From the FDA, Sanofi’s (SNY) and Regeneron’s (REGN) IL-6 inhibitor rheumatoid-arthritis drug Kevzara was approved.
