The Weekly Summary

April 13th – April 19th                                 2020

In the general news, UK Prime Minster Boris Johnson left the hospital after recovering from coronavirus. Also, the strange term “COVID-19” is now known to have been created by The W.H.O. as a way to minimize the association of Wuhan, China as the origin. SARS-CoV-2 is the proper term.

In the U.S., armed mobs surrounded the Michigan capitol building protesting the unconstitutional lockdown orders. Then, similar scenes played in more than 20 states. President Trump made the order to allow governors to decide when to reopen and people promptly returned to the beaches in Florida. In the economy, the Paycheck Protection loan program was scammed by big businesses resulting in very few small business benefitting. As a result, new unemployment claims hit 20 million. In other news, the South and Southeast saw a series of deadly storms killing near 100 people.
