Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (“Bobby”) is the son of Robert F. Kennedy, who served as U.S. Attorney General in the 1960s under his brother President John F. Kennedy. Robert was assassinated in 1968 while running for president. Bobby is the third child of Robert and Ethel Kennedy.
Bobby has led a troubled life since his teenage years, being immersed in the rock ‘n’ roll culture of the era, which led to heroin addiction. That drug use possibly damaged his vocal cords, leaving him with a strained, raspy voice. All of this made him an unlikely leading politician compared to other members of the dynasty.
To the anger of much of his family, Bobby became a cult hero in 2023 by running for President of the United States, like his father and uncles. This was a time when much of the country was repulsed by Donald Trump, on one end of the spectrum, and the communist politics represented by Joe Biden and Barack Obama, on the other end.
Bobby also attracted a dedicated cult following among parents of autistic children who believed vaccines were a major problem. Many were Californians.
This author was in the audience at the Park Plaza Hotel in Boston on April 19, 2023, when Bobby announced his presidential candidacy. I then became a senior member of his campaign, helping raise funds from Wall Street.
However, I quit Bobby’s campaign because I saw too many red flags. For starters, the entire operation was extremely poorly run. He had a group of vaccine activists with no real campaign experience running things. I also spotted that he was surrounding himself with shadowy deep-state figures, including apparent CIA and Mossad-linked individuals, despite those same types having killed his father and uncle (This was harbinger of things to come, when Bobby welcomed CIA stooges, the Means twins, to be spokespersons for MAHA.).
When Bobby’s campaign was clearly going nowhere, blocked from many primary ballots by the established parties, Charlie Kirk brokered a deal for him to drop out and endorse Trump in exchange for the position of Secretary of Health and Human Services. On August 23, 2024, at a TPUSA rally in Arizona, Bobby Kennedy coined the term ‘Make America Healthy Again’ (MAHA).
Bobby’s 2024 platform and goals for MAHA centered on reversing the chronic disease epidemic, especially in children. Key objectives included:
- Overhauling the food system to eliminate ultra-processed foods, seed oils, additives, and sugars.
- Reducing toxic exposures like pesticides and chemicals.
- Rooting out corruption and industry capture at the FDA, CDC, and NIH.
- Shifting healthcare from a drug-based sickness model to prevention and nutrition.
- Addressing over-medicalization, including vaccine policies.
Bobby vowed visible progress within two years. He promised to create a dramatically healthier America within four.
Well, now the HHS Sec., Bobby Kennedy is a year and a half into the job. What evidence is there that he has achieved any of this?
Almost every claimed accomplishment has been mere reports, strategies, voluntary pledges, and claims. There is little to no evidence of meaningful, enforced changes.
Food Reform:
None of the major food conglomerate have changed their food dyes, let alone the more harmful contents of their products. Trump and Bobby have extracted only promises and voluntary commitments, but no binding enforcement.
It does not take many years for a food giant to change their ingredients. These companies are clearly just waiting out the Trump administration, knowing that they will be removed from power soon.
Big Pharma Reform:
Pharmaceutical ads are still flooding television screens, despite talk of restrictions. Corrupted medical peer-review journals remain fully funded by industry and just as crooked as ever.
The Pfizer COVID vaccines, now known to cause serious adverse events of cancer, heart and nerve damage, and death, are still on the market. More products are on the way using the same mRNA “vaccine” technology.
Despite numerous hyped announcements from the Oval Office, the TrumpRX plan has not reduced the price of prescription drugs at all, with the exception of GLP-1 drugs like Ozempic. The claims are gaslighting propaganda.
Marty Makary, the former FDA Commissioner, was just pushed out on May 12, 2026. Critics described him as incompetent, failing to satisfy MAHA hardliners on one side while still trying to placate Big Pharma on the other. The FDA is just as corrupt as ever.
Pandemic Reform:
There has been no comprehensive report issued on what went wrong with the 2020 COVID response and how the pandemic was mishandled. Therefore, if another pandemic arrives, the same mistakes will almost certainly be repeated with fear-mongering, masks, lockdowns, and pushes for genetic-modifying mRNA vaccines.
We see this now as the globalists try to hype the man-made hantavirus into a new scamdemic.
NIH Reform:
The NIH, under Director Jay Bhattacharya, remains largely unchanged in many core functions. It continues funding of the deadly mRNA vaccine programs, as mentioned, along with other entrenched research priorities. Tony Fauci is still walking free.
No change in research funding paradigms have been made. Unnecessary and cruel research on dogs and monkeys goes on. Useless research on mice that does not translate into human biology well is still funded, as are fundamentally flawed biological mechanisms (e.g. beta amyloid plaque for Alzheimer’s Disease cures). In fact, the President of the United States is receiving IV injections of Leqembi to treat Alzheimer’s, despite the drug being completely ineffective and never should have been approved by the FDA.
CDC Reform:
The CDC is a total joke and currently lacks a confirmed permanent leader. Since President Trump assumed office in January 2025, CDC leadership has been unusually unstable.
The first nominee, Dr. David Weldon, had his Senate confirmation hearing canceled. Susan Monarez briefly served as acting director before being confirmed in July 2025 as the administration’s first permanent CDC Director, only to be fired less than a month later after clashing with Bobby. over vaccine policy and scientific integrity. HHS Deputy Secretary Jim O’Neill then acted as CDC Director from late August 2025 until February 2026, when NIH Director Dr. Jay Bhattacharya assumed the acting CDC role. In April 2026, Trump nominated Dr. Erica Schwartz (a physician, lawyer, and former deputy surgeon general) as the next permanent director, but as of May 13, 2026, she has not yet been Senate-confirmed, leaving Bhattacharya in the dual acting position.
Censorship Reform:
Jay Bhattacharya, the primary plaintiff in the landmark case Missouri v. Biden, was appointed to lead the NIH largely because of his “courageous” leadership in opposing the Biden administration’s aggressive censorship campaigns targeting scientists, physicians, and citizens who questioned lockdowns or vaccine mandates. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. brought a related case that was later merged into Missouri v. Biden. Yet once both men entered office, they promptly withdrew as plaintiffs and took no meaningful steps toward sustaining the underlying cases. Subsequent settlements were promoted as major victories, but in reality they applied only to three individuals and produced no district-wide or nationwide injunctions.
The net outcome is that federal censorship has grown more aggressive than ever. Rather than relying on human officials making phone calls to social-media platforms (as they did under Biden), the government now deploys artificial intelligence to monitor, flag, and suppress dissenting speech at scale.
CMS Reform:
The only person appearing to do a good job within HHS is Dr. Mehmet Oz at CMS (Medicare and Medicaid). He has been aggressively pursuing hundreds of billions in fraud that exploded under the Biden administration.
This is money that was laundered to fund various George Soros leftist groups like Antifa or BLM, and pay for “free” healthcare for illegal aliens in California, New York, Ohio, Minnesota, etc.
Where does MAHA stand now? Is it as dead as Trump’s MAGA?
A New York Times article this week noted that Bobby has been unusually quiet and laying low, though he is still planning to issue some sort of report on vaccines and overprescribing. The fact is that Bobby Kennedy has largely stopped doing his job under pressure from Susie Wiles.
Did Bobby Kennedy betray MAHA in the same way that Trump of betrayed his voters, or was he up against forces too powerful, including Trump?
