Once again, daily aspirin is shown to be deadly rather than beneficial

The Healthcare Channel has been pounding the table for many years pushing back against the drug industry that has been promoting daily aspirin as a wonder drug. The evidence has always been lacking to warrant daily aspirin as a way to reduce the chance of myocardial infarction. Meanwhile, the evidence that aspirin increases deadly GI and brain bleeding is overwhelming.

Now, several new large studies in the NEJM demonstrate, once again, that daily aspiring is deadly, due to bleeding, and does not reduce MI in primary prevention.

January 23, 2019- And again, daily aspirin is found to be too deadly due to bleeding.
